ACERBIS was founded by Franco Acerbis, the current President, in 1973. The company started its activity producing fenders for off road bikes and then expanded its production to a range of plastic parts that would offer a higher level of safety and competitiveness both for bikes and riders. Currently ACERBIS, whose mission has always been “Soul and Passion”, is a manufacturer committed to find innovative solutions for the utilize of its plastics in many different industries: automotive, earth-moving and agricultural machinery, industrial design and furniture. The group is divided into three business units: motorsport, sportswear and OEM. It now has more than 260 employees (200 in Italy alone), operating within three areas in Italy, the headquarter in Albino, a production unit and a logistic unit. There are three branches abroad, distribution units in the UK and United States, and a production unit in the Czech Republic. ACERBIS exports in 75 countries and sells directly in Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, UK and Austria.
